Calzones

Recipe by My kids and I made these calzones for Easter and they were delicious! Everyone loved making their own and you can personalize any way you like. I would suggest putting something on the oven rack below in case any cheese oozes out.

Ingredients:


  • Demarle at Home Pizza Crust Mix
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Your favorite toppings

Directions:


Prepare Pizza Crust Mix as instructed, preheating oven to 400 after dough rises.

For 4 individual calzones, divide dough. You can also easily make 8 smaller calzones.

Roll out dough on Roul'pat using Beechwood rolling pin, no extra flour needed. Cut strips in dough along both sides.

Add Sauce to center then top with your favorite toppings. Fold strips over toppings and pinch slightly to form a seal. (You can also just leave rolled out and fold over and seal.)

Carefully move from mat to Perforated Baking Sheet.

Cook as instructed on pizza crust directions, 12-14 minutes. Bon Appetit!
