Carrot Souffle

Recipe by This was always a hit but now it is even more impressive in the Demarle at Home flexi molds! By clr0806

Ingredients:


  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp each nutmeg and cinnamon

Directions:


Boil the carrots until cooked tender 20-25 min. Place in food processor with the butter and blend until smooth. Let cool slightly then add the remaining ingredients into the processor and process about 1-2 minutes until smooth and no lumps remain. Pour into the Flexipan Daisy Mold or equal size mold. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until set and knife comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes before unmolding. Note: Double the recipe for the sunflower mold.
