Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Ingredients:


  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 to 2 eggs depending of the size of your cauliflower, lightly beaten using the mini whisk
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • ½ tsp Demarle at Home Herbs blend (Rosemary, Basil, Thyme or Zesty Mediterranean)
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ garlic powder
  • Pepper to your discretion

Directions:


Preheat oven at 400 F.Cut the cauliflower into florets. Place florets into the Eco-chop, pull the string until the cauliflower looks like rice or couscous. You may need to do 3 or 4 batches. If using a food processor you may want to drain all the water out of the cauliflower by placing it in a clean towel and squeeze the liquid out as much as possible.In a bowl, combine cauliflower, cheeses, herbs blend, salt, garlic powder and the eggs.Transfer the mixture onto the Deep Flexipat or Silpat spread into a circle or rectangle.Bake for 20 min until the crust is golden and the edges start to brown a little bit.Remove from the oven.Spread tomato sauce and add your favorites ingredients (pepperoni, bacon, cheese, bell pepper, mushrooms, olives…).Put back in the oven for 10 min. Serve hot.Bon appétit !(Note: you can make the crust ahead of time and freeze it on the Silpat once it's baked)
