Coriander, Fennel, Caraway Bread

Recipe by Great when a more flavorful bread is called for. Great with soups and stews.

Ingredients:


  • 2-3 c whole wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp Sel Gris Sea Salt
  • 1/2 pkg Baker's dry yeast
  • 1 c warm water (90 degrees F)
  • 2 Tbsp Coriander
  • 2 Tbsp Fennel Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Caraway Seeds

Directions:


Combine 1 cup of flour with remainder of ingredients. Mix, add 1 cup of flour. Turn out on Roul Pat and knead in more flour as needed to form a soft dough. Knead for 5-6 minutes. Cover and Let rise for 1 hour. Press into a formed lump. Place into Silform Deep Dish Round Mold or mold of choice(I used the Sunflower mold). Cover and let rise until doubled. Preheat oven to 375. Cover Mold with Octagonal Silpat or Square Silpat and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and Enjoy
