Edible Ice Cream Bowl

Recipe by Have your ice cream bowl and eat it too! This fun way of serving treats can be done with any hard candy. Peppermints for the holidays are fun as are lifesavers for a more colorful bowl. From the Kitchen of Rebekah Osowick

Ingredients:


  • 9 Worther's Original Candies, unwrapped

Directions:


1. Place the Flexipan Straight Muffin Tray upside down on a flat surface and set aside for later. Place the Silpat on the Perforated Baking Sheet.

2. Create a circle with the unwrapped hard candies. 3 in the center and 6 around them. They should be about 1/4 inch apart, not touching. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for around 10 minutes or until melted into one another.

3. Don't leave too long or they will bubble and become burnt. Once melted, remove from oven. Let sit for maybe a minute or until they can be lifted off the Silpat with the Polyamide Spatula. Place them over the back of the muffin shape to form bowl. Let cool. Serve and enjoy!
