Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Tortilla Chips

Recipe by Game Day Eats

Ingredients:


  • 1 Fuji apple - peeled, cored and diced
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 5 tablespoons white sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon + 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 6 10-inch flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon Blood Orange Olive Oil Blend
  • Fresh mint

Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and place oven rack in center position. Place Flexipan Half Sphere Tray on Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.

2. In Mixing Bowl, mix together apple, strawberries, kiwis, bananas, lime juice, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg. Cover and chill in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

3. Cut tortillas with 3 7/8" dough cutter, twisting slightly to cut. Using Silicone Pastry Brush, lightly brush tortilla round with oil. With Sift and Go, sprinkle 1 tablespoon cinnamon with 3 tablespoons sugar atop. Press sugared tortillas into wells with Shaper to form around edges.

4. Bake for 5-10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Fill tortilla shells with fruit salsa and serve.
