Mustard Chicken


  • 1 sweet onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Green Onion & Roasted Pepper Herb Blend
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons sweet mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 yellow squash, cut julienne style
  • 1 green zucchini, cut julienne style
  • 3 large carrots, cut julienne style
  • 2 cloves garlic and 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 chicken breasts, sliced in strips


For Mustard Sauce: Saute onion, garlic and herb blend in olive oil. Add mustard and whisk. Lower heat and add whipping cream. Continue whisking until the sauce barely boils. Chill for 20 minutes.

While the sauce is chilling, saute vegetables until tender. Cover and set aside. Saute chicken strips in olive oil and garlic until brown and tender. Cover and set aside.

Remove mustard sauce from refrigerator and place in Saute Pan. Whisk under low heat until thoroughly heated.

Place one serving of chicken on serving plate and top with one serving of julienne vegetables and cover with mustard sauce. Serve immediately.
