Oatmeal Bath Fizzies

Recipe by A bath time favorite for mom and kids; these fun fizzies are referred to as "Bath Bombs" around our house! I love peppermint or lavender oil, and tea tree is always a good substitution when suffering from a rash or poison ivy! By HannaSteelman

  • 1 ¼ cups baking soda
  • ½ cup citric acid
  • ½ cup instant oatmeal
  • 1 T. vitamin E oil
  • 1 T. water, plus more for spritzing
  • 4-5 drops of essential oil, if desired
  • 4-5 drops of food coloring or natural color, if desired (do NOT exceed 1 tsp to avoid staining the bathtub)
  • Flexipan tray of choice (We LOVE the cake pop or madaline trays!)

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Drizzle oil, water, and color into mixture, then spritz with additional water until a formable dough develops. Press into Flexipan and allow to dry. Store in an airtight container to prevent drawing moisture. Enjoy!
