Pecan Tartlets

Ingredients:


  • Prepared pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 6 eggs , lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and place oven rack in center position. Place Flexipan Tartlet Tray on Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside. Using Roul'Pat, roll out pie dough with Beechwood Rolling Pin and cut with appropriate dough cutter. Place into wells using Shaper and set aside.

2. In Mixing Bowl, toss pecans with melted butter and place in each well. In same bowl add eggs, sugar, salt, syrup and vanilla until combined without over beating. Pour batter into tartlet wells over top of pecans.

3. Bake for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until set in center. Cool completely
