Quiche Lorraine

Recipe by This a great recipe for everyone in the family to get involved and make their favorite!

Ingredients:


  • One pie crust. Optional Prebaked 7-10 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Can use pie weights to prevent crust from puffing
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream or half and half
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Variety of meats, cheeses and vegetables: Ex. cooked bacon, ham, spinach, saute'd mushrooms, any shredded cheeses, onions

Directions:


Preheat oven to 375 degrees

If you decide to use a pie shell, place crust in a the Flexipan pie mold and pre-bake. Or, use dough cutters and cut crust slightly larger than wells in the Flexipan muffin tray and pre-bake.

Beat the eggs, cream and seasonings in a mixing bowl until blended.

Pour custard into the pre baked crust or directly into Flexipan for a Crustless Quiche.

Top with your favorite meats, cheeses, and vegetables.

Bake for 20-30 minutes until puffed and browned. Watch carefully.

Eat while hot or cool and freeze for later.
