Revved Up Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:


  • 3 oz shredded mexican blend cheese
  • 2 tsp butter (optional)
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 3 Tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp corn starch

Directions:


Preheat oven to 375'. Mix the crème fraîche, mustard, corn starch in a small bowl. Add the cheese and stir until well blended. Butter one side of each slice of bread; place bread, butter side down, on a Silpat. Cover each bread slice with half of cheese mixture.Bake until thoroughly melted, remove from oven, and allow to cool slightly.If you really want to Revitup, sprinkle sandwich with powdered porcini mushrooms.
