Salmon with Spiced Apple Pear Balsamic Glaze

Recipe by This is one of my favorite ways to prepare & cook salmon! So quick & easy! I especially love it when the salmon is fresh caught, but if that is not available, you can use frozen. Recipe by Gail Holt

  • Fresh Salmon Filet(s)
  • ¼ cup DAH Spiced Apple Pear Balsamic Vinegar
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • ¼ Teaspoon DAH Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Prick salmon filet(s)several times with a fork to allow glaze to seep into the filet. Place on deep flexiflat. Mix vinegar, brown sugar, & butter in petite saucepan & bring to boil. Boil for several minutes until reduced a bit. Spoon onto filet(s). Grind Hawaiian Sea Salt in mortar & pestle & sprinkle over glazed salmon. Bake for 10 minutes & check for doneness. If the filet is thick, you may need to cook longer. Check it every few minutes. Salmon should be firm when done.
