Gruyere, Chicken, Asparagus Linguine

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 small chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons DAH Zesty Mediterranean
  • 2 tablespoons DAH Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded apple smoked gruyere cheese
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2/3 of a 16 oz. box linguine


Wash & break asparagus into 1” to 2” pieces. Slice chicken breasts into small strips. Pour olive oil into large frying pan and add chicken, zesty mediterranean, & traditional balsamic vinegar & fry till chicken is lightly cooked on outside. Add chicken broth & smoked gruyere cheese, reduce heat & simmer for approximately 15 minutes. While that is simmering, bring a stockpot of water to a boil & add linguine. Cook according to directions on box. In a small bowl, combine corn starch & water, and when sauce is done, pour corn starch & water into sauce stirring constantly. Return to boil for a minute or two while stirring. Strain linguine & place on a serving platter. Pour sauce over linguine & serve.
