Smoked Sausage Stew

Recipe by This is a delicious one stock pot meal & quick & easy to prepare.! It is a big hit with my family!

Ingredients:


  • 1 Tablespoon DAH Sweet Basil Oil
  • 2 - 13.5 oz pkgs Hillshire Beef Smoked Sausages, sliced in 1/2" slices
  • 1 - 14.5 oz can beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Tablespoons DAH Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 - yellow onion, peeled, quartered & sliced
  • 1 ripe tomato, diced
  • 3 carrots, sliced in 1/4" slices
  • 2 cans white beans with liquid
  • 1 small zucchini, quartered & sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, skins on, diced
  • 2 teaspoons DAH Zesty Mediterranean Herb Blend
  • 1 teaspoon DAH Black Lava Sea Salt
  • 1 cup smoked gruyere, shredded

Directions:


Brown sliced smoked sausages in Sweet Basil Oil in large stock pot. Add all ingredients except smoked gruyere, bring to a boil, & simmer until vegetables are soft. Add smoked gruyere the last 5 minutes of cooking.
