Steamed Corn on the Cob

Recipe by Corn on the Cob is a summer time favorite in our home, but I never like heating up the kitchen with hot boiling water on the stove. Now with DAH Round Mold we can steam our corn in minutes while retaining more of its nutrients because it doesn't seep into the boiling water. Add the DAH Herb Blends and take it to the next level of goodness! By Mary Fischer

Ingredients:

  • Fresh Corn on the Cob
  • DAH Zesty Mediterranean Herb Blend or Roasted Garlic & Chive

Directions:

DAH Tools: Flexipan Round Mold, Octagonal Silpat. Break corn in half if it's too long for the Round Mold. Place corn in the Round mold and cover with Octagonal Silpat. Octagonal Silpat must lay flat and completely cover the Round Mold. Microwave for about 5-10 minutes - No water or oil needed. Be careful when removing the mold from the microwave, use a towel to remove the Silpat, the steam will be very hot. Other Veggies you can steam in under 10 minutes? Potatoes (poke holes with fork to steam to make mashed or potato salad) - full batch 5 min increments until tender. Brussels Sprouts, Artichoke (cut in half to lay flat in mold), Yams, Sweet Potatoes (poke holes with fork).
