Strawberry Basil Ice Cubes

Recipe by What a fun way to add some character to a punch bowl. The possibilities are endless with all kinds of fruits, vegetables and herbs! Enjoy!

Ingredients:


  • Distilled water
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Chopped fresh basil

Directions:


1. Place Flexipan Bow Tie Tray on Perforated Baking Sheet. Place a slice of strawberry in both sides of the bow ties, with the pointed end near the center.

2. Place small amount of chopped fresh basil in the center of each bow. Fill the wells with distilled water (freezes more clear than tap water), place in freezer and freeze until solid. Unmold and float decorative ice cubes in you favorite punch bowl (I used in strawberry lemonade).
