Sweet Potato Pie

  • 9" pie shell, unbaked
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet potato, cooked
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Cinnamon for dusting


1. Preheat oven to 400º and place oven rack in center position. Place Silform ® Pie Mold on Perforated Baking Sheet, line with pie pastry and set aside.

2. Place the next 7 ingredients in a blender jar and process on low speed until smooth.

3. Pour batter into pie shell, dust lightly with cinnamon and place in oven. Bake for10 minutes then reduce heat to 325º F and bake an additional 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

4. When done, remove pie from oven and sprinkle generously with more cinnamon.
