Tabouli Salad

Recipe by Fresh Tabouli is a yummy, easy dish to enjoy any time!


  • 2 Tbsp bulgur wheat
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp warm water
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 10 cups fresh, flat-leaf parsley, well-packed (with upper stems)
  • 2 cups fresh mint leaves, lightly-packed (no stems)
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 7 Tbsp Demarle at Home Meyer Lemon Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Demarle at Home Sel Gris Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp Spice for Life Cinnamon
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp pomegranate seeds (optional)


Mix the bulgur wheat and the water in a large bowl and set aside to thicken.

Slice scallions. Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally and remove liquid and seeds. Dice and and to colander to drain.

Place parsley and mint leaves into Eco-Chop and chop to desired fineness. Do not over chop. Add to bowl of wheat along with scallion and drained tomatoes.

Drizzle olive oil over salad and sprinkle with salt, cinnamon, allspice. Add pepper to taste. Garnish with pomegranate seeds. Toss well and serve.
