Tomato Bacon Tartlet

Recipe by Prepare to make 2 batches because these will go fast!! An all time favorite of my customers and my family!! Try it, you'll be hooked :-)

Ingredients:


  • 1 small tomato, chopped small
  • 1 small onion, chopped small
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. real bacon bits or real bacon, chopped small
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 t. dried basil or fresh basil
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust dough

Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place Mini Tartlet Tray onto Medium Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside. Prepare tomato and onion as listed above.

2. In the Mixing Bowl, combine first six ingredients together until blended. On the Roul’Pat, roll out piecrust a little bit more as packaged using the Beechwood Rolling Pin. Use excess to roll out more circles. Use the Dough Cutter to cut circles out of the piecrust.

3. Place cutouts in the Mini Tartlet Tray. Press each one down with the Shaper. Fill each piecrust with tomato/bacon mixture. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
