Whitefish Pate

Ingredients:


  • 1 1/4 lbs smoked whitefish
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
  • Pinch of salt
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Capers for garnishing
  • Crostini or crackers for serving

Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and place oven rack in center position. Place Flexipan Petal Tray on Perforated Baking Sheet and set aside.

2. Carefully skin, de-bone and flake whitefish. In Mixing Bowl, combine with all other ingredients except Parmesan cheese. Fill wells with mixture then sprinkle with cheese.

Bake until top is golden brown about 30 minutes. Let cool slightly and serve with crackers and garnish with capers. If serving cold, place mixture without cheese into tray and cover, then refrigerate for 3 hours.
