Life before Direct Sales

As an educator, dedicated wife and mother who fell in love with an educational tool that supported children in the classroom, I soon found myself in living rooms across America, awakening a true love for educating people at all levels.

I first fell in love with a product, then the company, and finally the goals and dreams that were realized by me and so many others that joined in on the journey of success in the Direct Selling industry.

Starting Over

After building a large sales team in a home party plan business, I found myself faced with a sad reality. The company that I loved and respected was changing venues and would be closing their direct sales division. Sad and dismayed, I began my plan of action. I did not work for 6 months and began baking up a storm trying new recipes and engulfing my family in a storm of fresh ingredients and everything with a homemade flare. Fresh baked bread, cakes from scratch and dinners that my children still rave about come to mind when we reflect on those trying six months.

It was January 2001 that I decided I could not allow the dismay or changes made on a corporate level to control whether or not I would experience the success I set out to gain. I began with a fresh resume and research on the company that would be best for me. I accepted a position as Executive Director of Sales with a Direct Sales company. I began teaching others to build sales teams and to experience success. I set my sights on helping others to bring their life full circle and be rewarded every step of the way.

My Introduction to Demarle at Home

In 2002 I received a call from a recruiter looking for an individual to head up a corporate position as the National Sales Director for a cookware company out of California. My first response was “no thank you” until I was informed that this company had a very unique product used by professionals around the world, the Silpat^®. Although it was new to the kitchen of the everyday cook, the Silpat^® was no stranger to me. With three of these incredible baking sheets in my kitchen, I knew immediately that if this company had other products that did what Silpat^® did… I was in.

I began with Demarle at Home as the National Sales Director in late summer 2002. We launched the company in January 2003 and began to create the company I longed to be a part of, The Best Direct Selling Company in the Industry! Today my children are 17, 21, 23, and 25 and they have learned the ins and outs of business and the many rewards that come along with success.
